We are excited to invite everyone to our school potluck, a friendly moment where students, teachers, and staff can share food from their culture, their family traditions, or simply a favorite dish.
The potluck is open to all types of cuisine, but this year, we are adding two fun activities inspired by French gastronomy for those who want to learn something new while enjoying the event.
Participants can test their knowledge of French cuisine with a short, fun quiz.
The questions will cover:
famous French dishes,
regional specialties,
traditional ingredients,
and a few cultural food facts.
It’s a light, engaging activity for everyone — whether you already know French cuisine or are discovering it for the first time.
This interactive game is simple and fun:
One card shows the photo of a French dish.
Another card shows the name of the dish in French.
Participants must walk around, talk to each other, and find the person who has the matching card.
This activity helps everyone discover iconic French dishes while encouraging interaction and movement — perfect for creating a lively atmosphere during the potluck.
The goal of this potluck is to celebrate diversity, enjoy food from different cultures, and bring our school community together.
The two French-themed activities add a playful and cultural touch, without limiting the potluck to any particular cuisine.
